You see the doctor. Every visit.
Chiropractic, rehab, and recovery support in downtown Naperville. The same provider every visit, by appointment.
What to expect on your first visit
Your first visit, in three steps
I listen first
You tell me what is going on, what you have already tried, and what you are trying to get back to.
I do a real exam
Not a quick screen. I want to know what is actually causing the problem before I treat it.
We start the same day
No coming back for a second visit just to hear results, no week-long wait between diagnosis and care. The first visit takes about an hour.
What I help with
Most of what I see day to day is back pain, neck pain, headaches, shoulder issues, hips, knees, and the wear-and-tear pain that shows up when bodies are used. I also do a lot of sports work with high school athletes, college players, and active adults trying to stay in the game.
The practice offers chiropractic care, physical therapy services and rehab, sports medicine, pain management, clinical nutrition, and acupuncture with a licensed associate by appointment. You do not have to know which one you need before you book. Figuring that out is part of the first visit.
Why patients pick this practice
You see the doctor, every time
Not a tech, not an assistant. The whole appointment is one provider, start to finish. It's the thing patients name first.
I find the source of the problem before I treat it
Most clinics treat where it hurts. Often the real cause is somewhere else, and finding it is the half most clinics skip.
I treat conservatively
No prescription meds, no injections, no surgery. Hands-on, manual care. If you need more than that, I'll tell you and refer you out.
Over 20 years of practice in this community
Open since 2003 as Hunter Family Chiropractic. Same doctor, same approach, same standard of care the whole time.
Meet Dr. Hunter
I'm a sport-focused chiropractic physician, a Diplomate of the Chiropractic Board of Clinical Nutrition, and certified in Veterinary Spinal Manipulative Therapy. I graduated cum laude from Bradley University and earned my chiropractic degree from Palmer College in Davenport, Iowa.
But credentials are not why most patients pick this practice. They pick it because of how I work, and what they get when they walk through the door. The Meet Dr. Hunter page tells more of that story.
