Twenty Years on the Field

For over 20 years I've worked with athletes at every level. That includes consulting positions with the Cleveland Indians (now Guardians), the Texas Rangers, the New England Patriots, and the Chicago Bears. NCAA programs including Stanford, Pepperdine, Iowa, Illinois, Minnesota, and Arizona, over 25 colleges in all.

Closer to home, I'm the inaugural team physician for the Pistol Shrimps. I've spent 5 seasons as the sideline trainer for the Naperville North field hockey team. I work with players from Canes Baseball, the local affiliate of one of the country's top youth baseball programs.

What that means for you: what works at a major-college level works the same way for a high school sophomore or a 50-year-old runner.

The body doesn't care about the level you're playing at. It cares about the structure underneath.

You Get Me. Not a Tech.

This is a solo practice. When you book with me, you see me. Not a tech, not an associate. I do the soft tissue, I do the rehab, I do the exercises, I do the stretching. Same provider every visit.

For athletes that matters more than people realize.

The person who put your treatment plan together is the same person watching how you respond to it week to week. That continuity is how we catch the small things before they become big ones.

Care That Fits Your Sport, Your Body, Your Calendar

Every athlete walks in with a different combination of training load, injury history, and structural quirks. Treatment isn't a template. The first visit is about an hour. We talk through what you're feeling, where it started, what you've tried, what your season looks like. I do a hands-on exam and tell you what I'm finding. Then we treat the same day.

I use what works for the body in front of me: spinal adjustments, soft tissue work, stretching, taping, targeted exercises, and the kind of practical rehab you can actually keep up with. No fancy equipment, no upsells.

FAQ

Common Questions

Do I need a referral?

No. You can book directly. Most insurance covers chiropractic care; we will verify before your first visit.

How long until I'm back in the game?

It depends on the injury and how long it's been there. After the first visit's exam I'll give you an honest timeline rather than a guess.

Do you work with high school athletes?

Yes. There's a dedicated page for that, covering recovery and return-to-play. High schoolers chasing varsity spots or scholarships are some of my favorite patients.

Can you help with non-sports injuries?

Absolutely. Most of what I treat is everyday wear and tear: back pain, neck pain, the stuff that comes from using your body. The athletic work is one piece of a general practice.

Is this covered by insurance?

Most plans cover chiropractic care. We will verify your specific benefits before the first visit so there are no surprises.
